Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to conduct the relevant commercial activities starting from collaborating with different stakeholders to the execution of import/export processes and everything in between while complying with the policies of the Company.
Responsibilities:
- To manage the commercial activities by lawful execution of import & export processes in a cost-effective manner.
- To manage the movement of products/material/equipment in and/or out of the country following organizational and other relevant laws, policy & procedures.
- To coordinate with the Vendor, Insurance Companies & Banks to establish LC/LCA on time.
- To collaborate with C&F agents, Bank(s), Insurance Companies, Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, Transporters, Inspection Companies, and other relevant stakeholders to release consignments on time.
- To design a material delivery plan for ensuring the availability of materials.
- To develop vendors for better freight negotiation and cost competitiveness.
- To update supplier accreditation in the supplier database as per the code of conduct of Berger.
- To monitor and measure the activities of C&F agents and evaluate their performance.
- To ensure the input of cost components against all the purchase orders which will help to reflect proper product costing in SAP.
Requirements:
- BBA or B.Sc from a well-reputed university.
- At least 2 years of experience in relevant fields will be preferred.
