Asian Paints dealers fly to Russia to watch FIFA World Cup 2018
A selected number of dealers of Asian Paints Bangladesh Ltd along with their family members have flown to Russia to watch FIFA World Cup 2018 as a reward from the company for their outstanding performance in sales.
A total of 58 dealers were declared eligible for “Privilege Club” competition offered by Asian Paints, the company said in a statement.
In total, a group of 110 people including dealers, their family members and Asian Paints representatives flown to Russia on June 24 (Sunday) to watch “The Biggest Show on Earth” up close and live, sitting in the stadium.
This is the largest group of people from Bangladesh to have ever attended the FIFA World Cup, and also the first of its kind. A number of companies had declared to take people to the world cup this year and Asian Paints came top with the highest number of winners among all the other companies in Bangladesh.
Ritesh Doshi, Country Manager of Asian Paints Bangladesh Ltd said, “Privilege Club is an exclusive programme designed for dealers to compete in and receive a grand prize every year.
The programme declares ‘Super Premium’, ‘Premium’ and ‘Members’ for this club based on the sales targets and achievements. We have started this program last year. This year we are taking the Super Premium and Premium title winners for the World Cup, along with members of their family. As my wife is unable to go, I & my daughter is going to see the World Cup in Russia. I always dreamt to see a World Cup match sitting on the stadium but I didn’t believe it will become a reality someday. By this initiative of Asian Paints me & my daughter will able to see FIFA World Cup match live in Russia. I thank Asian Paints from the bottom of my heart for giving me this great opportunity.”
Another winner Saifuddin, owner of Abdul Gafur Hardware at Chittagong mentioned, “It is an honour for me to get such an enormous opportunity from Asian Paints.
